Auckland Central Suzuki (ACS) was formed in 2024, integrating three Central Auckland violin studios. Emma, Kate, and Matt bring with them a combined teaching experience of over 50 years.

In 2026, we welcome Suzuki cello teachers Anna-Marie and Rachel and their studios.

ACS aims to create a warm, supportive and inclusive community for our students and their families.

We run weekly lessons for children of all ages, from newborn to teenager, we create many solo and group performance opportunities for our students and our students take part in NZ-wide Suzuki camps and events.

ACS follows Dr Suzuki's belief that every child who is properly trained has the ability to learn to play music beautifully. His goal was not to develop professional musicians but to nurture loving human beings and help develop each child’s character through the study of music.

 

All our teachers have completed many hours of teacher training and professional development in order to become Suzuki teachers registered through the NZSI.
