Private & Group Lessons

ACS students attend weekly private and group lessons during the school term. Parents/caregivers also attend these lessons so that they are able to help their children practise at home. Private lessons are held at each teacher's studio in various locations across central Auckland.

We all come together on Monday afternoons for our group lessons which are held at Eden Community Church in Mt Eden. Groups are an important element of the students' technical and social development. Along side group lessons, children get a chance take part in solo and group performances. We also use this time to work on musical enrichment and ensemble playing.

Our violin teachers have all completed many hours of Suzuki training and professional development in order to become Suzuki registered teachers. Between them they have over 50 years Suzuki teaching experience.
